From the trauma of  losing his family as a boy, 'Nam-soon' suffers from analgesia where he feels no pain. Working as a debt collector, he is emotionally barren until he meets 'Dong-hyeon', who calls herself a vampire because she suffers from hemophilia, a condition which prevents blood from coagulating. As this unlikely pair grow closer, they are asked 'is love worth the pain?'

Before I did "Pained" I had worked exclusively in digital format for several years.  I was able to convince the production to shoot one last film on ..."Film".  I let the shdows go real blue by skipping on the 85 filter just to heighten the film look.  It also features extensive Canon 5D work.  This was the closure I needed with film.
